Boa (UK2) To Be Replaced By Adder (UK3)

From July 2009, Boa will be replaced by a new server titled Adder. This is our offsite server, which runs our company websites, and reseller's WHMCS installations. We have already begun the process of transferring our customers with hosted WHMCS services across to Adder, and some clients are already up and running on it.

We will transfer our company websites with the next two weeks, so there may be intermittent downtime due to this. We will be transfering the client centre hopefully towards the end of June/beginning of July, it will be done last to ensure there is not a lot clients with outstanding invoices that need to use the system to make payment.

The reason for this move is purely because our fleet of new servers as a result of the problems with the recent software vulnerability, are now located on the same IP transit network as Boa; as the aim of Boa has always been to remain live and online when there is problems on any other part of our network, we will move across to Adder, which is located on a totally seperate network, and in the London Docklands.

If you have any questions, please submit a ticket.

Kind Regards
WirralNet
