Schuberg Philis DDoS

Customers Affected - Some Streaming Media Clients & Dedicated Server Clients.

There is currently a DDoS attack taking place on the Schuberg Philis network. The attack is not aimed at our IP Space or VLAN but rather the entire datacentre network itself.

This means there may be some slowdown and/or intermittent connectivity.

Rest assured that the NOC technicians are doing everything they can to mitigate the attack without as little interuption in service as possible, however, attacks of this nature and scale, whilst rare, can cause temporary intermittent and unforseen network problems.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused by this issue and thank you for your continued custom and support.

We will update you as appropriate.

With regards the DDoS attack made against the network in Schuberg Philis, the NOC technicians quickly stabilised the network and mitigated the attack. The network has remained stable for 3 hours now.

A second large was launched against the network within the past hour, however fortunatly, the part of the network that our rack is located on, is unaffected by this second attack.
 
If there is any changes to the status of the network, we will be sure to inform you.
